May 27, 2025 | Warsaw, IN — Central Noble sophomore Jozelynne McFall took center stage for the Lady Cougars at the IHSAA Warsaw Track and Field Regional, competing in the 100-meter hurdles and gaining valuable postseason experience. Running in Heat 2 of the preliminaries, McFall clocked a time of 17.04 seconds, placing 12th overall among a tough field of hurdlers. Though she did not advance to the finals, the performance marks a promising step forward for the young hurdler. As only a sophomore, McFall’s appearance at regionals signals a bright future for the Central Noble girls' track and field program. With two more seasons ahead, she’ll look to build on this experience and return even stronger in 2026. * * * * * * * * * * May 29, 2025 | Goshen, IN — The Central Noble Cougars showcased determination and grit at the IHSAA Goshen Track and Field Regional on Thursday, delivering notable performances on a competitive stage. Senior standout Redick Zolman led the Cougars with impressive results in both the 400-meter dash and the long jump. Zolman placed 8th in the 400 meters, crossing the line in 51.07 seconds to earn a point for his team. He showed even more strength in the field events, claiming 5th place in the long jump finals with a mark of 21 feet, 4.25 inches (6.50 meters). His preliminary jump of 21’ 2.75” had already hinted at a strong finals performance, and he delivered under pressure to contribute 4 points overall to the team total. Junior Kyle Knafel represented Central Noble in the 3200-meter run, battling through a highly competitive distance field. He placed 14th with a time of 10:09.22, capping off a solid season and gaining valuable experience at the regional level. In the shot put, senior Adam Marker put forth a strong effort in the preliminary round, launching a throw of 43 feet, 11 inches (13.38 meters). His performance placed him 13th overall, just shy of a finals berth. Though Central Noble didn’t advance any athletes to state this year, the performances—especially from Zolman in his final high school meet—demonstrated the heart and competitive spirit of the Cougar track and field program. As the team looks ahead to the future, younger athletes like Knafel will be called upon to carry the momentum forward.
