Grace Swank Leads Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars Past Eastside Lady Blazers By GameChanger Media Grace Swank was dominant in the circle, as the hurler rang up 10 strikeouts in Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars's 4-3 victory over Eastside Lady Blazers on Saturday. Swank allowed three hits and three runs over seven innings while walking two. Eastside Lady Blazers were the first to get on the board in the sixth when L Kitchen tripled, scoring two runs. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars captured the lead, 4-2, in the top of the seventh when Katie Forker grounded out, scoring one run, Kendra Smith drew a walk, scoring one run, and Avery Deter doubled, scoring two runs. K Mayberry took the loss for Eastside Lady Blazers. The starting pitcher went seven innings, surrendering four runs (zero earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking two. Deter led Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Kierra Bolen, Smith, Kensy Kimmell, Forker, Deter, and Nevaeh Schoup each collected one hit for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. Swank threw an immaculate inning in the second, striking out the side on nine pitches. Kitchen provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Eastside Lady Blazers with two runs batted in. The center fielder went 1-for-3 on the day. L Cline, Kitchen, and D Guerra each collected one hit for Eastside Lady Blazers. Eastside Lady Blazers turned one double play in the game.
