Central Noble Golf Battles at the Manchester Invitational

The Central Noble boys golf team teed it up at the 2025 Manchester Invitational at Sycamore Golf Club on Saturday, facing cool, cloudy, and breezy conditions. The Cougars finished with a team score of 369, placing them third overall in a competitive field. Leading the way for Central Noble was Nick Freeman, who carded a strong round of 82, firing consistent nines of 43 and 39. Hunter Halsey also turned in a solid performance, posting a 90 on the day. Connor Fish added a 94 to the team’s total, while Charlie Fleishman recorded a 103. Rounding out the Cougar lineup was Isaac Nodine, who shot 118. Manchester claimed the team title with a score of 357, followed closely by John Glenn at 363. Despite tough playing conditions, Central Noble showed grit throughout the round and demonstrated solid progress as the season heads into key upcoming events. The Cougars will look to build on this strong showing as they continue to sharpen their game for the conference and sectional tournaments.
