By GameChanger Media Even though Kensy Kimmell struck out 14 batters, Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars still fell to Bremen Varsity Lions on Tuesday at Central Noble Jr/Sr High School. Kimmell surrendered nine hits and four runs over seven innings while walking three. Bremen Varsity Lions got on the board in the top of the first inning after Eliana Grubbs doubled, and Chrissy Grabowski homered to center field, each scoring one run. Bremen Varsity Lions added two runs in the second. Grabowski doubled to center field, making the score 4-0. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars scored one run in the bottom of the second on a solo home run to left field by Kennedy Vice. Grabowski earned the win for Bremen Varsity Lions. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out six and walking none. Vice led Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Kierra Bolen and Vice each collected one hit for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. Grabowski led Bremen Varsity Lions with three runs batted in. The pitcher went 2-for-4 on the day. Grubbs led Bremen Varsity Lions with three hits in four at bats from the leadoff position.
