Knafel Breaks Into Record Books at Warsaw Regional

Knafel Runs Record-Book Time at Track Regional Central Noble’s Kyle Knafel turned in a historic performance at the IHSAA Track and Field Regional at Warsaw, placing 12th in the 3200-meter run while delivering one of the fastest times in school history. Knafel crossed the finish line in 9:53.5, setting a new personal record in the event. The outstanding performance now ranks as the third-fastest 3200-meter time in Central Noble boys track and field history. Competing against many of the top distance runners in the region, Knafel showed determination and toughness throughout the race, continuing to improve during the biggest meets of the season. Breaking the 10-minute mark is a major accomplishment for any distance runner, and Knafel’s effort further cemented his place among the top runners to ever compete for the Cougars. His regional performance capped off an impressive season and added another memorable moment to Central Noble’s strong tradition in distance running.
