Chelsea Fleshman Drives 4 Runners Home In Central Noble Varsity Cougars Victory Over Lakeland By GameChanger Media Chelsea Fleshman drove in four runs on three hits to lead Central Noble Varsity Cougars past Lakeland 5-2 on Thursday. Fleshman doubled in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the third inning, scoring one. Grace Swank threw a no-hitter. The hurler struck out 21 batters. Central Noble Varsity Cougars got on the board in the top of the third inning after Katie Forker grounded out, and Fleshman singled to center field, each scoring one run. Lakeland tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a walk by Emily Drew, and a wild pitch. Central Noble Varsity Cougars took the lead in the top of the fourth. Fleshman doubled, scoring three runs, to give Central Noble Varsity Cougars the leg up, 5-2. A Priestly took the loss for Lakeland. The starter went four innings, allowing five runs on five hits, striking out six and walking seven. Kaitlyn Tilley collected two hits for Central Noble Varsity Cougars in five at bats. Swank led Central Noble Varsity Cougars with four walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Lakeland were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. M Marshall had the most chances in the field with 12.
